Puncture vine - Tribulus terrestris

This invasive weed painfully punctures the feet of humans and animals while flattening countless bicycle tires. However, puncture vine's flowers are much loved by native bees, honey bees, small lepidoptera and several species of ants. The plants are also used medicinally.
