The image is constructed from 5 vertical images stitched together in Microsoft Image Composite Editor,(ICE). Taken on the 07/05/2011 at 1423Hrs. Camera-Nikon D3100. Lens- AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR. 52mm UV filter

Known to climbers as Bosigran Cove. The island is Porthmoina Island or Bosigran Pinnacle and the complex rib on the mainland is Bosigran Ridge, which is reputed as being used as a wartime training ground for commandos during the 2nd World War.

If viewed on MAX magnification, it is just possible to make out a party of climbers at the very top of the cliffs on both sides of the image, thus indicating the scale of the scene.
