Cornizuelo - Rhinoceros Beetle

I had completely forgotten the name of it but this insect was not dangerous at all, kinda soft too. Just chilling sipping all the sugar out of this freshly cut piece of sugar cane.

thanks to AliMari, I now know it is a "cornizuelo", gracias querida!

More info thanks to archjds:

The common name for this insect is Rhinoceros Beetle. You are holding a young male of about 6"-7" long. Full grown males are about 11" long...so almost twice the size of what you see in the picture.

THANKS FOR THE GROUP EFFORT ;0)
