Earlier today I saw a picture at the Photostream of a good Flickr friend of mine from Canada JOLOLOG (Lorien, Joe & Moshe) www.flickr.com/photos/jololog/5297856727/ whose work I'm particularly fond of and where in short Lorien (I believe) was implying that it's better to be small, different but free and independent, than big, beautiful but plain, not unique, similar to the most, patronized by them and unimportant ...

 

You said a mouthful my friend Lo, but in this life we have to pay a price for everything ... And the price that is usually asked to be paid for our uniqueness is a rather heavy one: Loneliness ... And it is a heavy "punishment" because unless you actually find a soul mate who is more than willing to escort your "strange" character in this world, you are condemned to eternal misery ... Like the one the tree in my photograph is propably feeling ...
