I took this shot during Christmas time last year in the busy streets of Bangkok, with the hustle and the bustle of thousands of vehicles going past every few minutes. The city, which is a cultural melting pot of the East goes wild and over-the-top with the big malls displaying all the glitz and the glamor and trying to compete against each other.
One such mall is the MBK mall of Bangkok. If you are looking to buy
anything electronic, this is the place to be. This was a perfectly
good place to take some long exposure shots with the light trails form
interesting shapes and patterns.
Bangkok is the capital, largest urban area and primary city of Thailand. Known in Thai as Krung Thep Maha Nakhon, meaning "city of angels" for short, it was originally a small trading post on the west bank of the lower Chao Phraya River during the Ayutthaya Kingdom. It became the capital in 1768 after the destruction of Ayutthaya by Burmese invaders. However, the current Rattanakosin Kingdom did not begin until 1782, when the capital was moved to the east bank of the river by Rama I following the death of King Taksin.
