Rush Hour Challenge, June 2017
June 12, 2017: the 5th Annual Rush Hour Challenge, hosted by the Somerville Bicycle Committee, LivableStreets Alliance, Boston Cyclists Union and MassBike.

Each year, we explore the perks and challenges of commuting in the greater Boston area. With so many transportation choices and route options, how do you know what is best for you?

The Rush Hour Challenge highlights the many ways we get around town. And, this year, we held both morning and evening events. In the morning, the challengers commuted from Dudley Square to Faneuil Hall. In the evening, the challengers left Faneuil for Davis Square. The winners rode electric assist bicycles featuring the Copenhagen wheel!

The challenge was immediately followed by the annual Red Bones Bike Party and Fundraiser for MassBike and the New England Mountain Biking Association.
