      You forgot to mention that it is sooooooo cold here.....That the other one broke when they tried to put it on.......Nicely captured....

      Yeah, the temps were in the single digits that day with wind chill well below zero. And MY digits? Well, let's say they were red and painful trying to take this shot. The Art Institute lobby was quite warm, though.

      Brief background story: the company manufacturing the helmets for the famous lions didn't measure correctly. The plastic was supposed to be pliable but the extreme temps made it brittle and they cracked. The next morning (the morning I took this shot) they tried again and fit quite nicely. For those unfamiliar, that's the Chicago flag behind him.

      Thumbnail caught my eye in Walk Chicago pool. It's terrible what they do to those lions. And I'm a Sox fan anyway. Good capture with the flag in the background. How undignified for the stately lion.

      In response to Emerging Artist: What? What's wrong with the tradition of putting a Bears helmet on the Lions? They've only done it TWICE in 20 years. And being a SOX fan somehow matters in this case? Jealous anyone?
