Little Red House at Dusk

A view at dusk of a little red house. I've passed by this little farm house many times in the past. It is located in rural Douglas county Missouri, east of Ava and near White's Creek cemetery, where some of my family members are buried. As far back as I can remember, there hasn't been anyone living in it. The siding is unusual because it looks like it is red wood shingles but the shingles don't look painted. Stained, maybe? I have taken several photos of it but never really captured it the way I wanted to until I saw it with the evening sun shining on it. Hope you all have a great Monday, this first day of March (coming in like a lamb)!

Took a drive yesterday (Sunday) looking for "first signs of spring" and nothing is growing except grass and a few daffodils (not blooming yet). Nights are still quite cold here.
