Hiding in Plain Sight
I spent most of last weekend desperately searching for my larger copper-bottomed saucepan. I only recently realized that, a few weeks ago in a fit of cleaning and reorganizing, I'd hung it on the kitchen wall, thinking, "Now it'll be accessible and easy to find all the time."
Silly me. That'll teach me to clean my flat.
