Lovely design. There are far too few actual LEGO Architecture sets focused on classical rather than modern architectural feats.

Use dark tan instead of light gray.

I think it works nicely, because it 'highlights' the actual building, while also giving texture and form to the surroundings. Same goes with most other Architecture sets, because they have light grey surroundings as well.

Yes, I also struggled about that... in the end I decided to go for gray because of the LEGO Architecture aesthetic-rules...
But of course dark tan would look more natural, that`s right.

Fantastic build, the grill tiles give the perfect form and look.

Nice model. I've invited this photo to the Lego and God flickr group. However, I have to ask, what did you use to render the Arabic name? It's a little unusual to write Arabic script left to right.

    9. HP Mohnroth 25 months ago | reply

      Oops..
Well, its rendered with Photoshop. And the arabic name is just copy-paste from Wikipedia ;-D

Fantatsic creation. Microscale is enemy territory for me, but I always love to see microscale creations. This is just perfect example of simplicity I like.
