African chicken from Restaurante Litoral. An old-school Portuguese-Chinese fusion dish, which includes ingredients like chiles, peanut butter, coconut, five-spice powder and rosemary. And yes, those are sweet pickles on top.

 

I was very bummed because we could only eat about half of our two dishes. Always the spendthrift (James is actually worse than I), I carried them around in a take away (as they would say, I'd say "to go") bag all day and we ultimately ended up leaving them in the hotel. You really don't have time for leftovers on vacation.
