Dwarfed by the Duomo in Florence

This is the facade of the Basilica of Saint Mary of the Flowers, the cathedral in Florence, Italy.

Impressed by the immense size of this beautiful building, I decided to exaggerate the shot by taking the pic with my Sigma 10-20mm lens, wide open at 10mm, which is what causes the walls of the building to "lean" inward. I rather like this extreme view, as it seems as if the cathedral itself is straining to reach toward Heaven.
