Holly: After much searching at Grand Central Terminal I have found the hidden room that contains the lockers. You might not know that Grand Central Terminal has many secrets . Underneath Grand Central Terminal, there are secret networks of underground tracks, steam-pipe tunnels, and storage areas. Hidden in these underground depths is a train platform with a secret entrance and an elevator straight up to the Waldorf-Astoria hotel. Unfortunately, you cannot currently see this secret passage for yourself. The door to the secret elevator is welded shut! But I digress. I will have to tell you about the “Whispering Gallery” some other time. Where was I.....oh yes! My sisters Rosy and Ivy both arrived to Lindamom with sleep eyes and the pull ties they have are the ones that they arrived with. I however was given sleep eyes by my Aunt Katie. The charm for this pull string is a brass disc. I can not tell you the origins of this charm as it would get Lindamom in trouble. If you ever meet Lindamom ask her and she will tell you the story but can not put it in writing. You can also ask Aunt Katie if you meet her. If you have ever met me, like Aunt Zanalee has, you have noticed this charm and maybe wondered at it. What does this have to do with anything you may rightly ask? The number on this brass disc is....57!! It fits into a slot in the locker like a coin slot. Inside the locker was a note. I am going to have some dinner now.
Me: Holly-chan!! You will do no such thing! While you are correct that I can not confess in writing where I got that brass charm I know the 57 stands for the year I was born. Now tell everyone instantly what the note said.
Holly: Did anyone CAREFULLY read what I said when I met Phoebe the first time? I went to the Cavern Club in 1957 the first time! This is how I proved that I was the first Time Traveler. I have not been to 1960. The note says: "Dearest Holly, You must use your Time Machine to travel back to 1960 where I will meet you in the Cavern Club with a very important message. With the highest regards, R.S." 1960 is the year that Phoebe Maybe traveled to to help a friend. I must go to 1960 to find out what this is all about. I will need: a mini skirt, a TV Guide, a Ford Mustang, a Vote Kennedy button, feminist flyers and sugar cubes.
Me: If I give you some cash will you pick me up a first press of John Coltrane’s A Love Supreme and the Kinks You Really Got me?
Holly: You have to find money printed before 1960. If you send me with currency after that you will upset the whole time continuum and we all confused enough by this fast and lose story about time travel.
