The hound of hell...

    Prev Next

I got to get some "Earl time" yesterday while visiting my parents. Apparently he is going through his rebellious teenage years. In one week alone he has managed to tear up the tv remote, steal a complete tube of Aspercreme and run through the house squeezing it, eat one of mom's favorite cookbooks and redecorate their living room with 2 rolls of toilet paper. He now completely understands the words "No" and "Time Out" although my mother says he chooses to ignore them.

Luckily he can still be loveable when his "big sister" visits! (at least, when he wants to be! ;-)

Fantastic capture! I so love this! I have Bostons and they are just about as destructive (but lovable) as Bassets, so I can relate.

Thank you all so much for the nice comments...I'm glad Earl can make all of you smile as much as he makes us (well, that is in between the destruction he leaves behind!). Since I've gotten so much great feedback on this photo, as well as others, I have decided to offer it as a card set on my Etsy site. I hope he is just as popular on Etsy as he is here! ;-)

Oh, this gets a '10'! What a great capture and submission for msh this month. You go Earl! We just got new neighbors yesterday, and while my husband was talking to them and letting them meet and greet our dog, he ate a piece of the pizza left on a plate. Needless to say, I took a peace offering of brownies to them later!

I just shot my drink out of my nose. That has to be one of the funniest dog photo's I have ever seen. Earl is a true Bassett Hound.
