Fifteen years ago I set out to climb up the 'iconic' mountain of Tryfan. On seeing it for the first time driving up the A5 I said out aloud 'Oh, you must be joking': I thought it impossible to get up it.
After pitching the tent I had a recce around it. On reaching Bwlch Tryfan I looked up and thought... I'll have a go at that. Soon I was at the top and elated at what I'd achieved.
Anyway, that's how my fascination with the Glyderau started!
A few of the Glyderau peaks are on show here. Tryfan is the 'shark fin' peak on the left.
As always, best large on black - it comes to life then.
