Inspired by 'you lot' ;) - I went 'shopping' with a friend last weekend. She's a gardener and bought seeds...I'm a hack and bought seedlings. Apparently seedlings suffer from transplant shock when they're transferred from their pots into the garden. My theory is that by the time I do actually get around to transferring them into the garden they're that pleased to be out of those pots they'll thrive! ;) That is if they can survive the aphid-covered Cecil Bruner rose hanging down over their garden bed...It's that heavily laden with buds I can't bear to cut back a 'path' yet...I'm onto an oil/soap/garlic spray at the moment so hopefully that'll make a difference... Snow peas, capsicums x 2, tomato, chilli, squash, apple cucumber, flat leaf parsley, thyme. Let's hope they survive!
