Vortex ~ Explored ~

The Nottingham, UK group theme of the month is 'Water'. A great choice of theme, just crying out for some long exposures.

I've shot Beeston Weir a few times, although always from the opposite bank (Clifton), never from the Beeston side. On the way home tonight, I made a short detour via the oposite bank of the Trent to Beeston Weir to see what oppertunities awaited.

Sadly, I only managed a few shots, as the rather ominous clouds soon burst in to a brief but heavy shower, cutting shooting short.

I love the vortexing motion in the river here, and really find the sky more appealing than Convergence.

Expect a few more water themed long exposure over the coming days :)
