Denver Park Fall Colors #1
Despite having quite a nice Fall here in Colorado, I was unable to get decent images when the colors where at their best. With kids and being busy I was not able to scout locations and then go back when the colors and light were good. So I though I was going to end up with nothing I really liked and took a few macro leaf shots.
However, in the end I did get two photos that I quite liked. Both at local parks when taking the kids out to play and both in what would normally be considered sub-optimal lighting. However the clouds and sun angles happened to be favorable and I think I got at least close to decent light.
This is the first I took. Obviously I would have liked a better foreground, but alas this was all I could get, but I think it works OK. Anything more substantial might have made the image too busy, but the rocks could have been a bit more inviting.
