Bride and Groom Cake Pops

    Newer Older

I attempted these cake pops from Bakerella's book. I needed to improvise with ingredients since I didn't have some of the sprinkles, etc., that she showed in her book. I made the bow ties by piping shapes onto parchment and used sugar pearls for the bride's necklace. These are for a bridal shower.
White cake, cream cheese frosting with dulce de leche added for extra flavor.

Are these then turned black with food coloring or are they a very dark chocolate?

I started with a dark chocolate and then added a little black candy color to make them a little darker.
      Thanks :)

They're really beautiful. I'm going to make my very first cake-pops today, and I'll practice making som wedding ones, since I'm soon getting married. I'll use your picture as an inspiration :-) Thank you.
