Well, I'd like to say that, but this could be the August with no faug---uh, fog. The low seafog, that is. I can't recall that happening in the time I have been pursuing it. I remember the year without sunsets, but that's another story we hopefully will not have to address.

Even if you use the same group of vantage points photographing something like this, year after year, you will still collect a set of unique images, when the details are examined. In this case the Earth's shadow and antitwilight arch provide some subtle color highlights after the sun has set and soft light abounds.
