My first attempt at a still life. I thought a still life would be easier than getting a good picture of wildlife. With wildlife you have no control, only hope that the shutter will catch just that perfect moment. With a still life you can take your time, arrange things just the way you want them. However. . . I couldn’t stop fiddling with this arrangement. The tendrils wouldn’t stay put or drape the right way, the rose hips would roll and point the wrong direction, the gourds might look better angled just a bit differently . . . ARRGH! Finally, I just had to leave it alone and take the picture! Hmmm . . . . I wonder if there are any birds on the birdfeeder. . . . Texture by skeletalmess.
