Something Leaf Pickles
I intended to make perilla leaf pickles, because I got the chance to visit a very large Asian grocery, and these looked like perilla leaves! I could not understand the writing on the package, but I got them anyways.
I followed the recipe, and enjoyed these leaves very much, but they didn't taste like people had described them to me. I later found out that it was Vietnamese mint! Hahaha. Still delicious!
