This was my biggest cake order to date; 400 dessert portions. This cake comprises: 14" extended tier, 12" extended tier, 10", 8" and 6". Then there were two 12" square kitchen cakes and an 8" gluten free kitchen cake too.
Most of the details on the cake reflect details on the bride's dress: ruffles, ribbon and bow, pearl-piping drapes, ruching, lace and buttons. Three extra large, handmade, gumpaste David Austin roses to match her bouquet.
This one really was a lot of hard work but I was really pleased with how it turned out.
