      Thats sweet! what do you have going on here though? is that on a tube or did you get some hook with a crazy long shank?

      Good eye Allen and thanks. I used a shank for the popper head and the collar of schlappen and bucktail... The rear half is a gamakatsu superline worm hook with dubbing schlappen and flash. Hook placement is key to getting a topwater eater to hand.

      Makes sense. I have tied a few with that popper head on a 5/0 daiichi 2461 but have been worried that the popper head takes up too much of the gap. Thanks for the tip.
