2000-2001, Burroughs Lofts
While at Rossetti Architects, I was assigned to convert this historic 1920's color plate manufacturing facility into residential lofts. This reinforced concrete structure was completely gutted and restored with an emphasis of retaining most of its original details. The large industrial steel windows were replaced with custom aluminum windows that mimic originals. The terracotta street facade was restored to its original splender, replacing many of the capitols and molding that were removed while the building sat vacant. As lead designer, I was responsible for working with the developer to develope the program and concept, creating presentation graphics and working with the project techincal architect to develop the contract documents.
