USS Iowa No.3

With San Francisco as a backdrop, the USS Iowa (BB-61) is towed on it's final journey to Southern California where it will open up on July 7th as a floating museum. It was a wonderful, albeit hazy, day on the bay and there was plenty of pleasure craft on the bay to see it on it's way. There was even a fly-by of F-18 Hornets, and a UH-1H Huey make numerous passes as this majestic battleship had an afternoon of the glory that was once the norm.
