Stripes on Coconut Shreddings
This tiny striped butterfly is almost the size of the smallest butterfly of India, the Grass Jewel.
However, this is Leptotes plinius, the zebra blue or plumbago blue, a species of small blue butterfly found in India.
It was foraging for nectar with its long maroon tongue by standing on the bunch of tiny white flowers, which appears like coconut shreddings!
It is currently involved in entomophily, which is how plants spread love through the insects! So, literally, there is love (of plants - pollen) in the air (on flying insects)!
