Pallikkaranai Painted Pancha Pandavas!

The age-old Indian princely-brothers Pancha Pandavas (5 princes) are back, but this time, they have chose to be lovely birds.

The self-introspecting Yudhishthira (first son) is preening himself as the first bird from the left!

Arjuna (third son) is totally focused on something important as the second bird.

The mighty Beema (second son) is expanding his wings in the middle (third bird).

Nakula and Sahadeva (fourth and fifth sons and birds from left, twins) are calmly looking towards their right.

The painted stork (Mycteria leucocephala) is a large wader in the stork family. It is found in the wetlands of the plains of tropical Asia south of the Himalayas in the Indian Subcontinent and extending into Southeast Asia.
