It's a beautiful day today...the sun is shining, the snow is melting, and it smells like spring is in the air. My hubby and I went to our local playground and I got to "play" while getting my shot for this week's assignment. I curled the legs of my Gorillapod around the ropes on this twirly-playground-ride and made sure my camera was secure. Then I made sure that I was secure (getting a little old for this kind of thing!). I had set my camera to shutter priority at 1/8 second (ISO 100, f22, -2 EV, and a polarizing filter), set the focus manually, and used my remote control to take the shots. Oh...and probably the most important part...my husband spun me around...and around...and around lol. Good thing he's got strong muscles. What you don't see in this shot is my left hand holding onto the rope for dear life and my right hand clutching the remote, which I aimed back at the camera from my left side. Got a few funny looks from some people...and even had a couple of kids join me for a while too. Had lots of fun with this one...it's been an awesome day.
