Falls Creek

This secluded creek can be seen up close southeast of Anchorage, Alaska. The Falls Creek Trail, beginning from a pull-out off the Seward Highway overlooking the Turnagin Arm, is a bit steep, but follows the creek as it cascades its way downward. The sound of rushing water masks any sound from the traffic below and makes the trail live up to its name. There are many peaceful glens like this one along the way.
