Yeah, was trying to be funny Craig, hence the "haha" in my first comment. Backfired on me. Looks eerily similar to one I got photos of in 2001, owned by Newmans. Identical except the numberplate.
  • secret squirrel6 3y

Thanks Matt=hahahhah Yeah I know mate that happens to me all the time No one Understands My Humour either very Frustrating that Oh well I reckon Im funny thats main thing hahahaha=Well I think Newmans did own this truck I am hoping Brahmy might help me out there and Im sure this is the rig that had Trucking with Tim painted on him so Im guessing has just been sold but I will wait for Brahmy to help me out there thanks Matt I think you are funny mate LOL

  • CLARKE & LIN MAYZE 3y

Definitely was bones's / Newmans of denison - big and tough but too heavy
  • secret squirrel6 3y

Thanks Clarke-Lin=Aaaagh Right so when you say too heavy is that Overall or just too heavy for what he needed ? thanks Clarke-Lin
  • CLARKE & LIN MAYZE 3y

Tare weight ol' mate - a tonne heavier than other similar rigs . It was just speced with the biggest gear available at the time - 620 hp cummins and Burns trailers with aluminium hanging off everywhere . I must say it handled like a wallowing whale - really needed another dog trailer behind it - I thought it was terrible to drive on the Princes Hwy up near Orbost / Cann River . Yet the Aerodyne 19 mtr B-double I drove for Rodneys out of Wagga was one of the best rigs I drove . Cheers Craig , Clarke .
  • secret squirrel6 3y

Thanks Clarke-Lin=Aaaaaagh Right mate by gee sounds like a real beast of a rig to Drive would never have know all that Yeah I knew a Bloke who used to drive for Rodneys and he said his was a good feeling truck on the Road felt like it sat down real nice thanks for great Info Clarke-Lin
  • Stuart 3y

Put 3 trailers behind it and it would pull better
  • secret squirrel6 3y

Thanks Stuart Yeah sounds like that would be the go mate settle the big boy down
