    A Toyota Land Cruiser would probably have as much power now as the Beddy did, LOL. The old Bedfords and Ford D Series were popular back then but haven't seen either one on the road for ages.

    some of these had Detroit V engines fitted, Is this one or did they not export them with that engine to Oz?

    We had them with the 6V53 Detroit and 10 speed roadranger and I have seen ones in NZ with a 6V71 but it doesnt quite fit under the cab.
