    Can't beat the old Merc, one of my favorite trucks of all time, thought here they were marketed as NG (Neue Generation, looking exactly like one on your photo, made in the '80s) and SK (Schwere Klasse, late '80s untill mid-'90s) series. My father used to drive V6 SK in the '90s.

    Thanks Mariusz yeah its interesting the differences in each country your Dad would have been very comfy as i drove one but for only a couple of trips but it was very nice to drive thanks Mariusz

    yeah the old benz's were an honest truck. till they brought those bloody actros's over here what a dud they were drove one for a few trips, couldnt keep em out the workshop though

    Thanks Matt Fair dinkum mate yeah benz were one of the most reliable trucks on the road back then was wondering about the Actros They look Suss and they are suss by the sounds of it a flash coat of paint does not make a great truck thanks for info Matt

    Interesting shot, Ipec when it was still proper Ipec!
    But who owned the prime mover very anon looking beast ,but its got gov plates!
    Maybe V/line or some such entity?

    Thanks Zed oh wow mate well spotted i remember those orange Volvos and taughtliners used to run down my way daily that were owned by V-Line but im not too sure about this one although just having another look at that rego plate its a bit hard to tell but im thinking its Queensland plates But my eyes are shocking some one might be able to help us out there Thanks Zed great pick up mate
