Designed and folded by Me.
6 3x3 cm squares of Kami paper. No glue at any point!
Time to fold: Around 15 to 20 minutes.
Other renditions of this puzzle. (Not truncated versions like the one from dollar bills by Lang, or from A proportion paper like Hideaki Kawashima, David Mitchell and more)
Robert J. Lang
Here are a couple more but I don't know the author or if they are even diagrammed:
I just went thru and purchaced this book that contains diagrams for Jason Ku puzzle:
I happily found that, although Jason Ku's and mine look similar they are quite different. Jason Ku's puzzle has book symmetry while mine has diagonal symmetry. The method to close the unit is different too.
A huge plus and something that I really wanted, was that the design allowed for a very small fold (as pictured and it can be folded even smaller!). I have to give a try to the other designs and see if they can be folded this small without gluing.
I worked 2 more versions, one more from squares and 1 from A proportion paper, but at this point I use a bit of glue.
Diagrams for this one are coming for the next week. Stay tuned.
