    How do you get your poached egg to look so perfect? Whenever I try it ends up looking like jellyfish.

    Thanks! It was delicious. Got the recipe from Rick Balyess's Mexican Everyday cookbook.

    This was actually my first time poaching an egg and I used James Beard's American Cookery as a guide. I think the secret to the poached egg is adding a couple table spoons of vinegar to the water and to keep the water at a temp just on the brink of boiling. The turbulence of boiling probably spreads out the white too much.
