Sunbeam Alpine Mk.IIA (1953) Engine 2267cc S4 OHV Production 3000 (all 2.3ltr Alpines)

This is a former works competition car, driven by Grand Prix star Peter Collins in the 1954 Alpine Rally, a sister works car OKV 21 was also driven in the same Rally by Stirling Moss. Just imagine today a pair of Ford Focus rally cars driven by Jensen Button and Lewis Hamilton

The standard Alpine had a stiffened 90 chassis with two seater open body, a manual choke, high compression 80bhp engine, louvered bonnet top, straight through silencer and uprated steering. Column shift gear change with an overdrive option .
