Southborough Community Fund Grant Ceremony 2014
The Southborough Community Fund (SCF), a fund of Foundation for MetroWest, announced its first grant awards and distributed $30,000 to ten local nonprofits in the areas of Family Support, Arts & Culture and Environment last night. The Southborough Community Fund was established in 2014, by local residents, to build resources to strengthen the community. Prior to the SCF, Southborough did not have a dedicated source of funding to make grants to the nonprofit organizations that are working so hard to maintain, and even improve, the well-being of its residents.
