Skyrim: Regaining The Pale

Newer Older

Our Adventurer has discovered an outpost guarded by Stormcloaks and an Ice Mage! Outnumbered, he fights his way to the top, only to be rewarded by some barrels full of tomatos and cabbage!

The first of a few Skyrim mocs I've been messing about with over the last week. I went with the round tower as they show up all over Skyrim.

Gondabuggan, Joris Blok, Julandrius, and 219 other people added this photo to their favorites.

The texture on the round tower is fantastic.
    So is the landscaping.

From close study I think I've figured it out, although there are still some bits that confuse me. Looking forward to the shot with the technique.

Loving the technique used on the tower. You truely are a master of the castle genre

Just so you know I like to be selective with the favourite button, you're not making it easy!

Imperial bastards. Skyrim belongs to the Nords!

    Nice MOC though. ;-)

this is beautiful! the colors all go very well together. we can't decide who to join yet haha, Sean likes the Imperials and Steph likes Stormcloaks

I joined the Imperials today. I like Solitude way better than Windhelm, too. But the idea of saving your game and doing both is a good one. Also, is it true you can only get the Windhelm house if you're a Stormcloak?

You can still get the windhelm house if you are an Imperial. The problem is, there are a lot of bugs. I have bought every house, but only the solitude house works properly. The windhelm house has lots of space and a armory with display cases but none of them work for me. I also made the silly mistake of selling the thieves guild armor early in the game and Ican never get it back so I can't complete the thieves guild quest fully!!! Bloodys bugs, hope they patch it up eventually.

Oh, I meant to ask if anyone had the bug where you absorbed a dragon soul when it still had about 70% health, and then it turned into a flying and attacking skeleton that was inviincible.... and then after awhile of that it turned invisible (and still invincible, and still attacking), and great swathes of fire would just come out of nothingness, and roast you alive until you ran away.... that was a fun bug, as far as bugs go. ;-)

i've seen plenty of bugs in game, but nothing as cool is that. tho i'm pretty sure derfel included the invisible invincible dragon skeleton attacking this castle... he's over on the left.

    This tower is awesome!

The Windhelm is full of bloody splatters and mangled bodies, as a consequence of the 'Blood On The Ice' quest.
Anyway, fantastic creation! I am planning on making some Skyrim creations myself but I doubt I can match this build!

For the record, I finally did get the Windhelm house, though by that point in the game, it was just for the sake of having them all. It takes effort to visit all those houses and remember what you stored where...

I simply store everything in the Arch Mage's quarters. I too have all houses haha.

I wish there were more Skyrim MOCs like this. I still play that game once or twice a month.
