View to the West - Mt Kosciuszko, Mount Kosciuszko National Park, NSW
Mount Kosciuszko is the highest mountain on mainland Australia with an elevation of 2228m.
It is a surprisingly easy walk to get there. 2 hours from the top of the Thredbo chairlift. Up until the 70s you could drive a car to the top. Probably the only 'highest continental peak' where you could do that.
