About 300 people marched through the streets of downtown St. Paul to protest the election of Donald Trump. Protesters denounced proposed Trump policies, bigotry and white supremacy. Common signs and chants included: "Love Hope Rise", "Not my President", "Hate has no place in America", "Is this who we are?", "F*ck Donald Trump".


On November 8, Donald Trump won a sufficient number of electors in the United States Electoral College to become President, but Hillary Clinton received more votes overall. Donald Trump won 59,704,886 votes and Hillary Clinton won 59,938,290 votes - approximately 233,000 more votes than Trump (numbers from Google at 11:40am November 10).
