Last winter i was hired to take pictures for a website: so I set up this little scene to show off the character and charm of the place.


A historic watertower is visible in the distance out the window. Scroll down for another image showing watertowers in this historic Victorian village. Mendocino, situated along the rugged northern California coast, 4 hours north of San Francisco by car, is on the National Register of Historic Places. This lovely restaurant owned and run by Peggy & Jamie Griffith, is the former art studio of Emmy Lou Packard, who lived in Mendocino in the 1960's and 70's and saved the town with its surrounding area from being developed.
