Rita Crane Photography: Mendocino Bay with Wild Lupines
After a beautiful rainstorm in April ( sadly our last of the season since we have had a very dry Spring), everything was sparkling, and the fields along Mendocino Bay were full of wildflowers. Every year we have cala lillies, wild mustard, California poppies, and wild lupine thriving along the edge of the ocean. Another "Postcard from Mendocino" of the current set I'm uploading for another week.
Later Note: This is what Mendocino usually looks like on a sparkling day. But currently we are now dealing with terrible fires, so the air feels more like a smog alert day in downtown Los Angeles. We had a dry storm with lighting that ignited over 1000 fires in Northern California. Many fires are still burning.
