French Farmhouses, Eygalieres (Provence)

    These walls have been here since the Middle Ages and village church dates to the 12th century. Eygalieres is a beautiful little village perched on a hill, near Avignon and St. Remy-de-Provence.

    Ces murs datent du moyen age. Eygalieres est un joli village perche sur une colline, tres pres de St. Remy-de-Provence.

      great picture. I like the geometric subdivision, and there's nice contrast. I think the color of the sky could be better though... like maybe a little darker to bring out the light center, or more saturated, or more yellow. (I'd have to play around with it to decide.)

      cold brains: good point regarding the sky. It was a soft winter sky and I left it as is because it never bothered me....but I may try getting into hue saturation and seeing what I can do. Never hurts to try things....One can isolate the sky with the magic wand and deepen it as well....or....maybe do something in the curves feature...or try burning in just ever so lightly maybe.......several options. I'll play with it ... Thanks!!

      Wauuuu, quelle photo merveilleuse. Elle est très très belle et pleine d'histoire. Dés que je l'ai vue je me suis dit: "voilà un village du moyen âge" et voilà que la légende le confirme. J'adore cette période de l'histoire et je suis émerveillée en regardant votre photo qui est pleine de magie, elle nous emporte dans ces temps lointains... Félicitations.
