Black-throated Green Warbler
This was a lucky shot--not only because I'd never seen this species before, ever, but because this was hand-held so, by rights, it shouldn't have even turned out. ;)
I had decided to brave the Eagle Trail at Peninsula State Park, even though it's the most physically challenging trail I'm familiar with and I'm in poor enough physical condition lately that I knew there was no way I'd be able to finish it. The first thing I encountered on the trail was this little bird, singing away. The song was unfamiliar to me, so I guess I made the right decision. My knee did not appreciate it, though.
