Bald Eagle
I know this is a very poor picture.. It was already getting dark and I had the ISO set to 4000 just so I could get the shuttter to something reasonable for a 400mm focal length (70-200 w/2x).
For quite some time I have wanted a shot of a wild eagle. I had a meeting today in DE and took a trip to a wildlife refuge near the Delaware River. I asked a local if he knew any good spots to look for an eagle. He directed me to this area and said "watch the power lines."
After taking this shot, I went to get my tripod, right as I was getting it setup, he flew away.. With the camera neither completely on, nor completely off the tripod, I missed the shots of him flying.
