Autopsy of Right Whale, St. Augustine Beach

A 2-year-old North Atlantic right whale died off the shore of St. Augustine Feb. 3, 2011, and was dragged onto the beach for an autopsy. Oceanic and wildlife officials helped untangle the 30-feet long, 15,000-pound whale from rope and other debris three other times since Christmas day. Picture of whale alive here:
