I think I've found a new favorite spot for panning shots. Taken in District 8, Saigon.

Great idea. I like her expression a lot. After all, it IS an amusement park.

This is very nice - the crop may be a little tight, and the face a bit blurry but nice shot.

Good panning shot. Nice feeling of movement; caught the girl's expression well; good composition. But the girl's face (at least) needs to be sharper!

Very nice panning shot. Her face could be a lit sharper, but very good capture of her riding by. And I love the effect on the background, great colors and patterns, and a real feeling of motion. Super work.

I am a big fan of panning and very jealous of those that can do it well. This one is done well. I love the colors of the lights on the ride and the expression of the girl is wonderful. At first I thought the crop was too tight, but after looking at it more closely I think it does work. While it is true that the face could be sharper...I realize exactly how hard this technique is...especially at night! :^)

I loved this in the thumbnail, and when I saw it large it was almost like a completely different image. All the lights in the image seem to competete for attention with the beautiful girl... and in the thumbnail all we have is a main subject, well composed with a very interesting background... I have suggested a square crop format that mimics the thumbnail composition.

Interesting picture with lots of colors. Unfortunally the child is a bit out of focus or maybe it is not sharp due to the motion?

Interesting photo. I like all the bright colors, but perhaps a crop would make this image more powerful.

I love the color in this photograph and the sense of motion. The lighting is also beautiful in this portrait. I disgree with the crop - I like it better with the subject off center. The only reason this didn't get a 10 from me is because of the way the edge of the rocket meets the corner in the bottom lefthand frame. This draws the eye down and away from the focal point.
