Having fun with Allen's DIY ringlight. Continuous light sources can be nice to work with. No triggers to worry about and easy to meter. They're just a bit difficult to stare for long periods of time.


The ring light is basically a bare circular fluorescent tube mounted on a base with a window cut in it for the camera to poke through. It's attached to a light stand, so it's pretty easy to move up and down as needed. It's not very stable though. :P
