The first biryani I had was made by my hubbie. I thought it was very delicious, but he didn't think it was as good as what he had in India and kept "developing" his recipe. The results were mixed; sometimes good, some (many) times.. not so much :P that I begged him not to do anymore experiment until..
Last week I had the chance to taste what biryani supposed to taste like when we visited NYC. The restaurant we went to (Chola eclectic restaurant - highly recommended, btw) make incredible biryani!
Now we're back home and determine than ever to make something taste similar to that (if, even possible, as good) ;)
