Angel dancing in the garden light

The pink angel's trumpet tree at South Coast Botanic Garden was in glorious bloom on Friday after my painting class, and so I moved closer to look for image possibilities. I spotted a lovely bloom hanging free and maneuvered among hanging branches until I could capture it with a cascade of bougainvillea that was growing against one of the garden sheds. I opted for a large aperture, purposely sacrificing a little foreground sharpness in favor of glorious bokeh to highlight the dancing angel. Minimal crop to bring this into the correct aspect ratio for a greeting card and no other processing but a touch of sharpening.
